Stellar Rush is designed as an offline-first arcade game with optional online features such as accounts, leaderboards, daily challenges, score syncing, and advertising. This policy explains what information is collected and how it is used.
Information We Collect
Stellar Rush may collect or store the following information:
- Username, password recovery credentials, and optional account identifiers used to save progress and recover your account.
- Gameplay data including score, altitude, captures, selected ship, daily challenge runs, leaderboard rank, and run history.
- Locally stored offline scores and queued leaderboard submissions until an internet connection is available.
- Device, advertising, and diagnostics data provided by third-party services used for ads, analytics, crash reporting, or backend syncing.
How We Use Information
We use this information to:
- Operate gameplay features, personal progress, unlocks, and daily challenges.
- Sync eligible runs to online leaderboards when internet access is available.
- Display global, daily, weekly, all-time, and personal leaderboard rankings.
- Support account recovery through username and password.
- Show ads and improve app stability and performance.
Offline Play
Stellar Rush works offline. When offline, your runs and progress may be stored locally on your device. If you later connect to the internet and create or log into an account, eligible local runs may be synced to the online leaderboard.
Third-Party Services
Stellar Rush may use third-party services, including:
- Supabase for account data, leaderboard syncing, daily challenge records, and stored game progress.
- Google AdMob for banner and interstitial advertising.
- Apple services required for app distribution, device operation, and App Store functionality.
These services may process information according to their own privacy policies. Google AdMob may use advertising identifiers or related device signals depending on your device settings and consent choices.
Data Sharing
Public leaderboard entries may show your username and run statistics. We do not sell personal information. Data is shared only as needed to operate the app, provide online services, comply with law, or protect the app and users.
Account and Username Changes
If you change your username, your existing unlocks and leaderboard records should remain associated with your account. If you log out, local progress may remain on the device unless removed by uninstalling the app or clearing app data.
Children's Privacy
Stellar Rush is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children where parental consent is required. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it if appropriate.
Data Retention
Gameplay records, leaderboard entries, and account information may be retained while your account or leaderboard records are active. Some local data remains on your device until you delete the app or clear local storage.
Your Choices
You can play offline without an account. Online leaderboard and daily challenge access may require an internet connection. You can manage ad tracking preferences through your device settings.
